| Having a ringback tone is the same as punishing me for calling you. That's a bit dramatic I know. Some of the songs I like. But some make me cringe. I have to hold the phone away from my ear. The only thing worse in cell phone world are those people who make you listen to part of a song on their outgoing message! Most of you are probably thinking who are you talking about? (Which is why we are still friends.) Since I work in the HR department, I call people to set up interviews and contact them about other work related issues. It rings about 4 times and then you hear this slow R&B music over the line. That goes on for about a minute and a half until you finally hear a slow soft voice say something grammatically incorrect. For example, "I ain't here right now, (insert weird short chuckle) Holla atcha girl." Save yourself some time and say "Do not give me a job. I don't want it." | | |

I spent a fun weekend up in Indy with my roommates from college. We were originally scheduled to go to Chicago but changed the plans last minute. (I'm glad I didn't have to drive there from the bottom of the state.) We did some shopping, bar hopping, and reminiscing. I hope we always make time for each other. Rachel looked great. She's five months pregnant with her first child. It's really exciting. I was pretty worn out today but it was worth it. Last night Mom made chicken and dumplings which were awesome. Uncle Jeff and Daniel (for the two people left in the world that don't know, that's my boyfriend) came over for supper. After we ate I was playing with Duffer. I thought I felt a huge tick on the back of her front left leg. It turns out it was just a cocklebur. It was in her fur pretty good so we got some scissors to cut it out. She kept biting at us when we tried to remove it so Dad held her mouth shut and I held her in my lap. Daniel was trimming with the scissors and I could just feel her shaking in fear. All of the sudden my lap becomes wet and warm. We scared the piss out of her. | | |
| I was driving down 71 on my way home today listening to 88.1. They were playing a totally awesome 80's song you never hear anymore. So naturally I was singing as loud as I could. I was actually being an idiot which wouldn't have been so bad if Jeremy Dudley wasn't riding along side me laughing his ass off. What are the chances? | | |

| This is my last week of working for Ball State University. It sort of feels like I'm just now graduating even though I finished my degree in 2004. People keep asking me if I'm excited to move back to my home town. I only feel anxiety. Maybe if I was starting a new job I'd be excited. I am becoming completely dependent on my parents again. I will be reunited with Duffer again after 4 weeks without her. I had a woman go through my condo again for the 3rd time. I thought for sure she'd make on offer. Her family talked her out of it because she has a 9ft grand piano. Was that ramble detached enough for you? That's what the inside of my head looks like right now. Complete confusion. | | |
